Book a free 20-minute assessment.

On Teams, no cost, no obligation. I hear the student, tell you honestly where they are, and recommend the format that fits — even if that turns out to be somebody else.

Fastest ways to reach me

WhatsApp is usually quickest.

What to include. The student's age and grade, whether they have done drama or speech before, what you are aiming at (weekly classes, an eisteddfod, an audition, a speech competition), and any deadline. The more of that I have up front, the more useful my first reply will be.
All coaching is online. Sessions run live on Microsoft Teams — I send a link, no account needed. If your family already uses Zoom or Google Meet, say so and I will use that instead. See how a session runs.

Good to know

Before you get in touch.

How quickly will I hear back?

Within one working day. If you have not heard back in two, please WhatsApp me — it means the message did not arrive.

Where do you teach?

Online, anywhere in South Africa. Sessions run on Microsoft Teams. I am based in Gauteng and adjudicate nationally, but the coaching itself is not tied to a location.

Do you teach in Afrikaans?

Yes. Coaching is available in both English and Afrikaans, including Afrikaans eisteddfod sections and ATKV Redenaars.

What does the free assessment involve?

Twenty minutes on Teams. The student performs or reads something — anything — and we talk. You leave knowing where they stand and what would help. There is no sales pitch at the end.

What do we need for the first call?

A laptop, tablet or propped-up phone with a camera, somewhere with light on the learner's face, and about two metres of floor. That is genuinely it. Full setup notes here.
